Operations Manager - Jennifer Handgraaf
WIth over 20 years of freight logistics experience as both a receiver and supplier of transportation services, Jenn understands both sides of the logistics equation (supply and demand). Beginning as a traffic coordinator for a manufacturing company then moving on to dispatcher and working up to operations management she knows the ins and outs of the industry. But all that logistics experience is secondary to her outstanding customer service skills which have been recognized numerous times over the years by both customers and employers. Jenn considers herself a customer service expert with over 30 years of satisfying customer’s specific needs which ties into two key aspects in RMTS’s approach to business; understanding customer needs and providing excellent communication. Put her to the test, call her to discuss your needs today!

The dream began in 2005 with a strong determination to take one truck, 15 years of maintenance experience, and a belief in himself and the American entrepreneurial spirit to build a successful full service logistics operation. Owner Rick Miranda used his time as an owner operator then fleet owner to learn the specifics of delivering freight, maintaining equipment, and understanding the value of building relationships. In 2010, Rick traded his truck for a desk and partnered with US1 Industries to become a transportation agent thus opening the doors of RM Transportation Solutions (RMTS). This too was a learning experience, one that taught him the dynamics of operating a trucking company but with less risk. In 2015, the RMTS management team decided to take the next step and become an independent motor carrier giving the company more flexibility to service the customer’s needs without the corporate red tape. Today RMTS is a successful full service logistics company utilizing both company assets and owner operators to deliver FCL and FTL freight to customer facilities throughout the DE, PA, NJ regions.

Safety Supervisor - Jen Miranda
Safety is a driving force of our operation and every member of the RMTS family is expected to contribute under Jen’s direction. Her knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulatory requirements helped Jen create and implement the RMTS safety program. Jen stays informed on industry regulation changes and trends to ensure RMTS remains in compliance and that drivers are kept informed and trained. She also maintains up to date records for all drivers and vehicles, conducts regular audits of E-Logs,  and works closely with Anthony to monitor asset maintenance needs.

Maintenance Supervisor - Qandell Gilmore
Quan's training began while he was still in high school when he took his first job as a clerk at an auto parts counter. This experience assisting customers encouraged him to pursue a career in auto mechanics. While working at national and local shops for years,  Anthony honed his talents by watching, asking questions, and always striving to do whatever it took to be the best at his trade. Wanting to become a more intricate part of an organization, Quan jumped at the opportunity to operate the garage here at RMTS focusing on quality and standards. Quan's job is to ensure RMTS vehicles meet and exceed the rigorous standards set by DOT federal guidelines and owner Rick’s expectations. Under his supervision our trucks have low down time meaning your freight gets delivered on-time as promised!

Our Story 2005 to Present....

Owner - Rick Miranda
A man of ambition and belief in himself driven to do what others tell him can't be done. Rick's trucking industry experience started right after high school when he got under his first truck as a mechanic. In 2005, Rick traded his mechanics gloves for driving gloves and fell in love with mastering the wheel, learning all there was to know about picking up and delivering freight, and how to overcome the challenges of the road and the ports. Once he had mastered these skills, Rick's ambitions grew and he decided to build a fleet of trucks with the intention of providing excellent service and creating a family atmosphere for his drivers. Rick's success as a fleet owner drove him to open his own trucking company. He knew that if he could secure just one customer, further success would follow. Today, Rick still strives to grow the business one customer at a time.
